Station Jacket Black Sulfur Sashiko

The Station Jacket is a relaxed-fitting second layer designed around simplicity. Based on garage jackets of the 1950s, the silhouette is cut a hair wider and a hair shorter to sit just at the belt line. Two large welt hand pockets and a single flat chest pocket keep the exterior minimal while providing the storage and versatility expected from a modern garment.

Developed in Japan as a method of reinforcing workwear, Sashiko is characterized by its distinctive textured weave that was designed to add durability without sacrificing comfort. The fabric is woven to recreate that traditional appearance while offering a structured hand, subtle depth, and exceptional longevity.

Our Sashiko fabric is made from 100% cotton and develops character with wear, softening over time while maintaining its unique texture. The result is a fabric that feels substantial yet breathable, with a quiet visual richness that sets it apart from traditional twills or denim.

 The jacket is lined in an ultra-lightweight black polyester for comfort and ease of layering. Finished with a custom-made Alloy finish dual-directional zipper from Talon USA for the front and a matching toggle zipper for the chest pocket.  The cuffs are finished with custom engraved polished nickel snaps
